Angel- Yes! Let's do it! I'm ready!
SWTWC – Television series or movie?
Angel- That really depends on the mood. There's absolutely nothing as good as sitting down in a movie theater with that freshly popped popcorn in hand and that box of candy and having the lights go down around you and experiencing that latest hit with a crowd of total strangers. Laughing along with people who you likely will never meet again is such a cool experience. Jumping at the same scares with someone out there living their own life and having their own dreams and aspirations and fears... it's kinda magical. But, there's also nothing like snuggling up on the couch at home and streaming 16 hours of your favorite show, either. It's like visiting old friends, and I just couldn't choose one experience over the other.
SWTWC – Delivery or sit-down restaurant?
Angel- We've often lived places where there is no delivery option, which also means that "going to town" isn't an every day occurrence, either, so sit down restaurants are definitely a treat. But I would be a dirty little liar if I didn't say that I don't dream of being able to call and have a piping hot pizza delivered and let's not even touch on my dream of being able to order in Chinese food! I would die of happiness on the spot. Right on the spot!
SWTWC – Board games or card games?
Angel- Hmmmm. I never thought of them as being different, really. I'm a huge lover and collector of both. Oh, man! I'm starting to realize I may have issues with making choices here. If you ask me which Twix is my favorite, my head may explode. Left Twix, or Right? They're both covered in yummy chocolate and have the same delicious caramel center, buuuuut...
SWTWC – Video games or books?
Angel- If there's a new Red Dead Redemption, Fallout or Resident Evil out, you're not gonna see me for a few days, at the earliest. But I've been known to play at the same time as having an Audible going so, I mean, yeah.
SWTWC – Paperback book or eBook?
Angel- eBooks! Don't get me wrong, I love having my paperbacks on the shelf, but when it comes to actually reading, I get a lot more of that done on my phone. It's just more convenient that way.
SWTWC – Summer or Winter?
Angel- Winter!!! All day, every day. The sun is my sworn enemy and we kind of hate each other.
SWTWC – Beach or mountains?
Angel- Beach! But I live near the mountains and they're less of a treat for me. The beach will always be special, though. The water seems endless and it just fills you with this sense of unlimited possibilities. It could lead to anywhere and everywhere and places only dreamt of...
SWTWC – Die Hard is an Xmas film, yes or no?
Angel- Die Hard is not just A Christmas film, but it is THE Christmas film. And it must be watched every year to ensure the curse remain broken.
SWTWC – Morning or night?
Angel- Night! The moon and I are pals to the max. It's a special time, when the world is asleep around you and everything is at peace. It's a magical time.
SWTWC – Shopping in-store or online?
Angel- Online. Definitely online.
SWTWC – Shower or bath?
Angel- Shower, but in a bathtub. Like, you lay in the tub, but have the shower going. It's wonderful! And relaxing. And especially amazing when you're not feeling well. But, also, that scene where Nancy is in the bath in the original Nightmare On Elm Street completely ruined baths for me. I was like, four, when I first saw that movie. It definitely gave me a love for horror, but at the same time, baths are a hard pass for me.
SWTWC – Call or text?
Angel- Text. Please, for all that is holy, message me. Unless we're gaming or you're my husband or son, let's text or IM.
SWTWC – Sausage or bacon?
Angel- Oh, man, I love both! Unless the bacon isn't crispy, though. Then I'll take sausage.
SWTWC – Cats or dogs?
Angel- Dogs. Cats are great little furry jerks, and I love them. But, dogs, man! Dogs are man's best friend. They're always there for you, no matter what.
SWTWC – Rock or hip hop?
Angel- I was born in 1980. You can't ask a girl that question who was born in 1980. Both are ingrained into my very soul.
SWTWC – Coffee or tea?
Angel- Coffee! Sweet iced tea is great, and all, but coffee is life!
SWTWC – Turquoise…is it blue or green?
Angel- Isn't it both all mixed together? No? Just... just me?
SWTWC – Sleep on the left or the right side of the bed?
Angel- Whatever side is farthest from the door! Especially if the door has a habit of creepily opening itself at night. Doors that are slightly ajar are terrifying and can lead to nothing but certain doom.
SWTWC – Friday 13th or Halloween?
Angel- Friday The 13th. But Halloween is right behind. Jason could totally take Michael in fisticuffs. Unless we're talking about the holiday.
SWTWC – The Thing or Alien?
Angel- The Thing! Definitely! Though the Alien franchise is a beautiful creation in itself.
SWTWC – American Werewolf in London or Dog Soldiers?
Angel- I'm just going to go ahead and slide across my horror card now because I haven't seen either. Not for any specific reason. I just haven't had a chance to, yet.
SWTWC – IT (1990) or IT (2017)?
Angel- Definitely 1990. That is the It of my childhood and I will forever belong to that Loser's Club. That movie and book was so important to me back then. I used to dream of having a group of friends like that. And when I lost myself in those pages or that film, it was as if I had found them. But the 2017 version was a good movie and I have no bad words to say about it.
SWTWC – Lost Boys or Fright Night?
Angel- Fright Night, but really because The Lost Boys kinda ruined rice for me for a while. Both are incredible films.
SWTWC – Shining or Amityville?
Angel- The Shining. Hands down. No questions asked. Although, the Ryan Reynolds Amityville was pretty hot.
SWTWC – Red Hot Chili Peppers or The Foo Fighters?
Angel- Don't get me wrong, this girl loves her some RHCP, but The Foo Fighters will forever live in my heart.
SWTWC – Kong; Skull Island or Godzilla; King of Monsters
Angel- I really enjoyed both, but Skull Island inches ahead. Really because I'm a huge Hiddleston fan.
SWTWC – Marvel or Dc?
Angel- Marvel. DC is great, don't get me wrong, but it tends to take itself too seriously. I love that Marvel is more laid back.
SWTWC – An asteroid is about to destroy the Earth in 7 hrs….pick three films to watch
Angel- Everything Everywhere All At Once, Thor: Ragnarok aaaaaaand This Is The End.
SWTWC - Pick your last meal on Death Row; starter, main and a desert + a drink.
Angel- So morbid, I love it! I would start with a huge salad with all of the fixin's, like, all of them, and then cover that baby with homemade ranch! Next up would be spicy fried chicken thighs from Popeyes with a huge baked potato, real butter and lots of salt. And for desert, a huge chocolate cake with a nail file baked in! I know I wouldn't have the time for an old fashioned file the bars away escape, but the thought that someone would send that in would just touch my heart, you know? Oh, and a nice cold glass of fat free milk because what goes better with chocolate cake? And there definitely needs to be some garlic bread in there, somewhere. Preferably made with sourdough.
